Age 62 of Chesaning passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at
10:00am on
Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Father Bill Gruden officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive friends that day from 9:00am until the time of service.
Vivian was born on November 24, 1953 to Bernard and Georgina (McCann) Coonrod in Owosso. She graduated from Chesaning High School. On January 8, 1972, she married the love of her life, David A. Cook at Our Lady Catholic Church.
Vivian spent her life as a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter’s, formerly Our Lady, and she was involved with the CAER Center. She enjoyed working on the computer, caring for the grand-dogs, and mostly, spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Vivian is survived by her husband of 44 years, David; her son, Paul (Kellie) Cook; her grandchildren, Charlie, Olivia, and Drew; her parents, Bernard and Georgina; her siblings, Nancy (Dennis) Kettle, Kathy (Kevin) Smith, Gertie (Mike) Meier, Wanda (Larry) Fifield, Joann (Henry) Delbridge, Rose (Dale) Reiber, and Bernie (Beth) Coonrod; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
She is predeceased by her Godchild, Scott Coonrod, her father- and mother-in-law, Roy and Emily Cook, and her sister-in-law, Ruthann. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
