Tim Amman

Of Grand Rapids, formerly of Chesaning, MI

 

Passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016, at Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was 57 years old.  Tim was born in Owosso, MI on January 26, 1959.  He is the son of Elaine A. (Willing) Amman and the late Joseph C. Amman.  Tim is survived by his loving mother, Elaine A. (Willing) Amman of Chesaning; his brother, Ted (Lisa) Amman of Farmington; his special niece, Shelby; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph, on April 1, 2005.

 

Tim was a graduate of Chesaning High School in the Class of 1977.  He then graduated from the Spartan School of Aviation in Tulsa, OK.  He was an avionics technician and also performed machine maintenance.  Tim loved NASCAR Racing and airplane computer games.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016, at St. Peter Parish Catholic Church, 404 South Wood Street, Chesaning.  Fr. William Gruden will officiate.  Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning.  Tim’s family will be present at the church Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Mass.
