Shirley R. (Goschka) Sevcech

Passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015, at MediLodge of Montrose. Age 97. A Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Chesaning with Fr. William Gruden officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Chesaning. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday at Misiuk Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church until time of the Mass.

Shirley was born in Marion Springs, MI on December 7, 1917, the daughter of Frank and Alice (Allen) Goschka. She married William Sevcech. Shirley was a beautician.

She is survived by her two children, Tom and wife Carol Sevcech of Chesaning, Kathy and husband Dan Shuster of Florida; and grandchildren, Julie Bitterman, Chris and wife Tanya Sevcech, Jeff and wife Heather Shuster, Kristen Buss; great-grandchildren, Rebecca Freas, Melissa Freas, Katlyn Sevcech, Brianna Sevcech, Devin Sevcech, Josie Bitterman, Jessica Bitterman, Abigail Shuster, Allyson Shuster; and great-great-grandson, Bentley Freas. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, William; a grandchild, Tonya Sevcech in 2000; and all of her brothers and sisters.
