Age 73 of Chesaning passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Gruden officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Homes Martin Chapel on Friday, November 17 from 2:00 to 8:00pm with a Rosary prayed at 7:00pm, and also at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until the service.

Reynaldo… was born on August 10, 1944 to Reynaldo and Rosalia (Flores) Rodriguez Sr. in Benavides, Texas. He graduated from Chesaning Union High School. He served in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne 504 Division from 1964-1968. Reynaldo married the love of his life, Darlene Lee Sims on December 30, 1972 at Our Lady Catholic Church.

Reynaldo worked at General Motors for 44 years before retiring. During his life, he loved doing anything with his family. He enjoyed camping, watching movies, and DIY projects. He volunteered in his community for years as a Boy Scouts Webelos Pack leader, an auxiliary police office, and a volunteer ambulance driver.

Reynaldo is survived by his wife of 45 years, Darlene Rodriguez; his children, Jonnie (Matt) Taton, Joe (Tracy) Willits, Jay (Lisa) Rodriguez, Jerrod (Barb) Rodriguez, and Jill Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Gina, Jamie, Chris, Candace, Jon, Sierra, Meghan, Jordan, Justin, and Sydney; his great-grandchildren, Emilee, Rylee, Ian, Sophie, Gwen, and Bethany; his siblings, Lydia Gatica, Robert (JoAnn) Rodriguez, Maria Clark, Juan Rodriguez, Miguel (Mary) Rodriguez, Reyes (Shelly) Rodriguez, Romero Rodriguez, and Jose (Helen) Rodriguez; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

He is predeceased by his sons, Jaime Lee and Jack Edward; his parents, Reynaldo and Rosalia Rodriguez; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Gatica and William Clark.
