Age 79 of Brant passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Covenant HealthCare.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at St. Peter Parish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
Michael was born on February 19, 1941 to Matthew and Julia (Lacko) Borsenik in Saginaw. He graduated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic High School and attended Michigan State University. Michael served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years as a Radar Specialist. He married the love of his life Sally Wendling on June 18, 1966.
Prior to his retirement as a commercial line bus driver in 2003, Michael was employed as an Insurance Adjuster then he owned and operated his own auto repair shop. He was a member of St. Peter Parish (OLPH) where he served on several committees including ushering for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, VFW, American Legion, and Brant Sportsman Club. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Michael loved camping, fishing, hunting, boating, playing cards, and bird watching. He was also a hot air balloon enthusiast.
Michael is survived by his wife, Sally; two sons, Mark Borsenik and Barry (Mandy) Borsenik; special granddaughter, Olivia Borsenik; his sister, Rosalie McFall; brother, Gregory (Beth) Borsenik; sisters-in-law, Jackie Borsenik, Mary Lou (Doug) Gerding, Barbara (Ernie) Gross, Joyce (Jerry) Kieffer, and Veronica (Joe) Eickholt; his brothers-in-law, Andrew (Sue) Wendling, John (Jeriann) Wendling; and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents; his brother, Patrick Borsenik; his brothers-in-law, John McFall and Luie Krupp; and his parents-in-law, Cornelius and Louise Wendling.
