Mary M. (Birchmeier) Sensabaugh Clark

Age 81 of Chesaning passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at St. Mary's of Michigan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at St. Peter Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at McGeehan Funeral Homes Martin Chapel on Monday, January 20th from 2:00pm to 8:00pm.

Mary was born on May 30, 1938 to Herbert and Albina (Ebenhoeh) Birchmeier in Owosso. She graduated from St. Michael High School and earned her nursing diploma from St. Mary's Hospital School in 1959. She worked for St. Mary's of Michigan for 40 years, retiring in 1999 as Assistant Director of Nursing Service.

Mary married Bernard D. Sensabaugh on October 15, 1960; he predeceased her in 1984. She then married Ronald Clark on July 28, 2001 and he predeceased her in 2007. During her life, Mary enjoyed gardening, crafting, camping, and traveling. She also loved volunteering at the hospital. More than anything, Mary loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her children, John (Irene) Sensabaugh, Ron (Lisa) Sensabaugh, Tom (Karena) Sensabaugh, and Connie (Roy) Bellor; her 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; her sister, Maxine (Dale) Wenzlick; her brother, Vince (Joyce) Birchmeier; and her sister-in-law, Diane Birchmeier.

She is predeceased by her first husband, Bernard D. Sensabaugh; second husband, Ronald Clark; her parents, Herbert and Albina Birchmeier; and her brother, Jerome Birchmeier.
