Age 90 of Chesaning passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Union Court Assisted Living in St. Charles.
Gail was born on July 2, 1931 to James and Floy Robinette of Chesaning.
He attended Chesaning School and graduated in 1949. Gail married Maxine Kulhanek in 1951. Together they had 5 children, Glenn (Becky) Robinette of Oakley, Roselle McCormic (Roger Bates) of St. Charles, Jean Krupp of Chesaning, Dan (Diane) Robinette of Chesaning, and Cindy (Ron) Smith of Phoenix, AZ. They had 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Gail worked primarily in the Auto Body repair business, having opening Village Sales and Service in 1973.
Gail enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing cards with his good friends. He also loved working on his lawn and taking fishing trips to Canada. Gail was a member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Gail had 2 brothers, Elton and Ross, who preceded him in death, as well as his wife, Maxine; son-in-law, Lloyd Krupp; and his parents.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at McGeehan Funeral Homes Martin Chapel on Tuesday, November 2nd from 2:00 to 8:00pm, with a K of C Rosary at 7:00pm.
