Donna Jane Maike

Age 86 of Oakley passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at her home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McGeehan Funeral Homes Martin Chapel on Wednesday, April 21st from 4:00 to 7:00pm with a Rosary prayed at 7:00pm.

Donna was born on November 3, 1934 to Earl and Josephine (Antel) Walser in Maple Grove. She married Lawrence L. Maike on May 29, 1954; they celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage before he predeceased her in 2004.

Donna was a loving homemaker all her life. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She cherished the people in her life. Her door was always open to a friend or relative to stop by for a visit, and a call from her long-time friend, Helen, was often a highlight of her day. Donna was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.

Donna is survived by 1 daughter and 2 sons: Sharon (Jerry) Wagner of Temple, TX, Glen Maike of Oakley, and Larry Maike of Chesaning; 5 grandchildren, Kyle Wagner (Lisa Bowden), Brian Wagner (Kate Malone), Jordyn (Andrew) Giesken, Mackenzie Maike (Tyler Lake), and Gracelynn Maike; 4 great-grandchildren, Noah Wagner, Jaylynn and Bowen Giesken, and Lawson Lake; and her brother, Marvin (Jackie) Walser.

She is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; her son, Randy Maike; her parents; and her brothers, LaVern and Robert Walser.
