MARCUM, Carol Ann (Kligar) – of Saginaw, died Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Brian’s House in Essexville. She was 72 years of age.
Carol was born February 12, 1947 in Owosso to the late Frank and Virginia (Wenzlick) Kligar. She was a 1965 graduate of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and moved to Saginaw later that year. Carol was employed by Second National/Citizens Bank in the Saginaw area for 39 years retiring in 2004. She is a former member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and currently a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Parish in Saginaw. She was also an avid reader and a member of Butman-Fish through the Saginaw Public Libraries. She loved the Hallmark Channel especially the Christmas movies, enjoyed doing word searches and spending time with family especially around the holidays.
Surviving are: son Nicholas Marcum of Saginaw; heavenly adopted son and family, George and Kalie Tucker and their children, Michael, Elijah and Sophia; siblings: Nancy Dennis, Sue Thiel, Annette (Pat) Turnwald, Dawn (Lou) McCullough, all of Chesaning, Darnise (Larry) Monroe of Montrose, Tim Sears of Alpena and Brian (Penny) Sears of Apex, NC; nieces and nephews: Amanda (Kevin) Moore, Jon (Lisa) Dennis, Jeff (Cheri) Thiel, Mark (Jill) Thiel, Nicole Turnwald, Troy (Rachel) Turnwald, Jennifer (Brandon) Leonard, Zachary Colston and Loretta (Mark) Meyers; many great nieces and great nephews. She was also preceded in death by: mother, MaryLou Kligar; and siblings: Bill, Doug and Janice Sears.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at St. Peter Catholic Parish with Fr. William Gruden celebrating. Visitation will be at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m., with a parish rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m. Visitation on Wednesday will be at St. Peter Church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. Private inurnment will be at a later date.
