Cardboard City is Saturday, September 29th (3:00pm)-Sunday, September 30th (1:00pm)   Any youth in grades 6th-12th are invited to participate.  The purpose of     Cardboard City is to give our youth the opportunity to   experience, in a small way, homelessness and issues     associated with the homeless.  Please understand that because we are trying to give the youth a sense of being homeless there will be a limited fast.  Youth will have a soup dinner on Saturday and toast for breakfast on Sunday.  They will conclude the event with lunch on Sunday. During this event the youth will     participate in Mass, prayer services, scripture studies, awareness games, and    discussions.  Youth will be  expected to participate in all activities and to        observe all the rules. 
Please return the signed permission slip and $10 to your Youth Ministry Office.  A Medical Form and signed Media Release Form must be on file in the office.  Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.  We are looking forward to a   positive  experience at this event.  If you have any questions, please contact your Youth Minister.
