Per the decree from Bishop Cistone, July 1 marks the establishment of Saint Peter Parish in Chesaning, Michigan. Saint Peter Parish is made up of the parishioners of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Chesaning, and Saint Michael Parish, Oakley. Saint Peter Parish will worship at the Chesaning (Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church) site with the Oakley (Saint Michael Church) site available for former parishioners for weddings or funerals. Saint Peter Parish is also "linked" with Saint Cyril Parish in Bannister, Michigan.
With the establishment of the new parish comes a new weekend Mass schedule - Saturday @ 4:30 pm and Sunday @ 8:30 am. There will also be Mass at Saint Cyril Parish on Sunday @ 10:30 am. Check back often to our website for more information on this transition.
