Age 87 of Chesaning, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014, at Oliver Woods Retirement Village, in Owosso.

She was born on April 7, 1927, in Chesaning to the late John and Ethel (Smith) Shindorf. Helen married Robert Wenzlick, Sr., on June 5, 1948. He passed away in 2012.

Surviving are their 10 children and spouses: Catherine (Gary) Ferguson of Saginaw, Robert Wenzlick Jr. of Essexville, Christopher (Barbara) Wenzlick of Owosso, Julia Willitts and Fiance Rick Larson of Henderson, Dennis (MaryAnn) Wenzlick of Owosso, Alan (Beverly) Wenzlick of Chesaning, Mary Sue (Bob) Farlow of Chesaning, Elaine Blackwell (the late Jim Blackwell) of Manteo, N.C., Janice (David) Neumeyer of Hemlock, and Richard Wenzlick of Chesaning; 22 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 13 great - step - grandchildren; one sister, Esther (Andrew) Birchmeier of New Lothrop; and one brother, Raymond Shindorf of Walled Lake, and special family friend, Bill Bila of Chesaning.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Catherine Byam, Irene Anderson, Lawrence Shindorf, Theodore Shindorf, Margaret Bentley, Marie Steele, Anna Mae Kligar, and Rose Shindorf; many sisters-and-brothers in law; sons-in-law Denny Willitts and Jim Blackwell; granddaughter Baby Blackwell; step-grandsons Jamie and Jack Willitts; step-grandson Bradley Blackwell and special family friend Judy (Bill) Bila.

Funeral liturgy will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's in Oakley. The family will be at the church at 10:00 a.m. to meet and greet with friends. FR. William Gruden will officiate with cremation to follow. Burial will take place at a later date in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2014. Prayer service 7 p.m. Monday night at funeral home.
