Obituary

Age 87 of Chesaning passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Union Court Assisted Living.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at St. Peter Catholic Church.

Patricia was born on June 29, 1933 to John and Mary (Constine) Tithof in Chesaning; she was the youngest of 10 children. She married Max Alden on November 19, 1949. Together they raised 4 children and celebrated 55 years of marriage before he predeceased her in 2005. She then married Robert Coleman on January 24, 2009; he predeceased her in 2015 after 6 years of marriage.

During her life, Patricia worked at Universal Electric for 40 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Patricia was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She also served on the board for the River Rapids District Library in Chesaning. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Patricia also enjoyed many years with her bowling team. She was an avid reader, and she loved cooking and baking, especially pies and cookies.

Patricia is survived by her 4 children, Jack (Sharon) Alden, Jim (Cheryl) Alden, MaryJo Newell, and Kim Goidosik; 11 grandchildren, Dana (Steve) Weisenberger, Troy (Brandy) Alden, Jamie (Jason) Kumpelis, Mindy (Scott) Withers, Zac (Lindsey) Alden, Tyler (Tanya) Alden, Drew (Holly) Alden, Ryan Tithof, Alana (Dave) Cattaneo, Kyle Goidosik, and Kara Goidosik; 15 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Lou Tithof and Jane Alden; and her brother-in-law, Arnie Morse; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her first and second husband; her parents; her 9 siblings; her son-in-law, Bob Newell; and her great-grandson, Andrew Cattaneo.

Her family would like to thank the caring and loving staff at Union Court and Heart to Heart Hospice.
