Michael F. Barrett

Owosso, Mich.

Passed away Wed. June 10, 2015 at his home after a long illness. Age 72. Visitation on Monday June 15 at the Misiuk Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Mass on Tuesday June 16 at St.Michaels, Oakley at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at St.Paul's Cemetery, Owosso.

Mike was born August 15,1942 in Carson City. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Army. He had been an insurance agent for the Knights of Columbus. He also had worked for area funeral homes. He was a deacon in the Catholic Church for 25 years. Having served at St.Joseph's, Owosso and other parishes.

His wife Judith passed away in 2006.

Those left to mourn him include his 3 children: Dan Barrett, N.C., David (Chris) Barrett, Owosso, Michelle (Dave Zipp) Julian, Diamondale. 6 grandchildren. His companion Dee Buchner, Owosso. Sister: Faye (John) Ralph, Arizona. Brothers: Tim Barrett, Stanton and John Barrett.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, Flint.
