Passed away Friday morning, February 26, 2016, at MediLodge of Montrose. Mary Lou was 83. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016, at St. Peter Catholic Church of Chesaning with Fr. William Gruden officiating. Cremation will follow the Mass. Her visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. On Thursday morning, her family will be present at the church to welcome friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Mass.
Mary Lou was born in Chesaning, Michigan on December 12, 1932, the daughter of Nicholas and Cecilia (Gengler) Wenzlick. She was married to Richard Sears, and then later, she married Frank Kligar. Mary Lou had worked in the meat room at the Riverside Market of Montrose.
Those left to mourn her loss include her children, Darnise (Larry) Monroe of Montrose, Tim Sears of Fairbanks, Alaska, Brian (Penny) Sears of Cary, North Carolina, Carol Marcum of Saginaw, Nancy Dennis of Chesaning, Sue Thiel of Chesaning, Annette (Pat) Turnwald of Chesaning, and Dawn (Lou) McCullough of Mt. Pleasant; 29 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Don Wenzlick; sister, Rita Klco; and nieces and nephews.
Loved ones who have passed away include her husbands, Richard Sears and Frank Kligar, who died in March of 2014; three children, William Sears, Douglas Sears, and Janice Sears; sisters, Francis, Dorothy, and Virginia; and brothers, Harold, Jim, and Art.
