Marion E. Morasky

Passed away Monday, September 14, 2015, at the Chesaning Nursing Care Center. Age 99. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Chesaning with Fr. William Gruden officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Southfield. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. Friday at the church until time of the Mass.

Marion was born June 11, 1916, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Edward James and Helen F. (Roeder) Dwyer. She married Albert Morasky. He preceded her in death in 1969. Marion had lived most of her life in Wayne, MI. She had worked for Hudson’s Department Store in Westland for 15 years.

Mrs. Morasky is survived by her daughter, Ann E. and husband Bill Johnson of Saginaw, formerly of Chesaning; two grandchildren, Julie Lehner of Saginaw Twp., Jim Bolosh of New York City; and a great-grandchild, Ryleigh Lehner. She was also preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Larry Hayes; granddaughter, Patricia Bolosh; three sisters and one brother.
