Margaret R. (Coughlin) Bolinger of Owosso and formerly of Chesaning, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 4, 2021, at Oliver Woods Retirement Village of Owosso. She was 100 years old.
Margaret was born in Mt. Pleasant on August 12, 1921, and was one of twelve children of the late Charles L. and Sarah M. (Conroy) Coughlin. Marge was united in marriage to Everett M. Bolinger on August 2, 1969. They were married for over 21 years before he preceded her in death on November 8, 1990.
Marge had lived in Chesaning since 1970, coming from Davison. She was a GM retiree, having worked 27 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Peter Parish Catholic Church of Chesaning and a former member of the Daughters of Isabella. Marge was loving and giving to everyone in her family.
Marge is survived by her many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was also preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters, Charles, Martin, Edward, Robert, Donald, George and Joseph Coughlin, Dorothy Myers, Monica Ostrom, Kathleen Parks and Marie Overfield.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, November 8, 2021, at St. Peter Parish Catholic Church, 404 South Wood Street, Chesaning. Fr. Ken Coughlin, Marge’s nephew, will be officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery of Chesaning. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Misiuk Funeral Home with a Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. There will also be visitation Monday morning at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 10 a.m.
