Passed away early Saturday morning April 4, 2015 at the Chesaning Nursing Care Center. Age 89. He was born October 20,1925 in Maple Grove. His parents were Earl and Josephine Walser. He served proudly in the U.S.Navy. He retired from GM/Buick. He had been a car parker for Showboat for over 50 years. His wife Geraldine passed away Nov.7,2012.

Those left to mourn him include his children: Vern Walser and Janice Hawn,Chesaning. Steve (Tami) Walser, Chesaning. Vanessa (Joe) Pacek, Chesaning. Deb (Floyd) McDougall, Chesaning. Shawn Walser,Prudenville. 10 grandchildren: Jori, Sydney, Whitney, Hannah, Halee, Chelsi, Bryce, Ciara, Mike and David. 4 great grandchildren: Eden, Nevaeh, Shianne and Bailey.

Visitation and Mass will all take place on Tuesday morning April 7, 2015 at St.Peter Church, Chesaning. Visitation will start on Tuesday morning from 9-11 am. at church. Mass will start at 11:00 am Tuesday. Military honors will follow the Mass. Cremation will then take place. misiukfuneralhome.com
